Opportunities for Academics to Supervise a PhD
The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Next Generation Organ-on-a-chip Technology (COacT) provides opportunities for collaboration with academics both inside and outside of Queen Mary who are working in this field of organ-on-chip, organoids, new approach methodologies (NAMs), microphysiological systems and related complex in vitro models.
Academics at Queen Mary within the Centre for Predictive in vitro Models may submit project proposals. All PhD proposals should be in partnership with an external industry partner.
Please see details of the process for submitting a PhD project proposal here
We have a number of CDT PhD studentships which are available to support collaborative research projects with academics outside of Queen Mary following the success of the UK Organ-on-a-Chip Technologies Network. External academics wishing to be involved in supervising a PhD student at the CDT should identify a suitable academic in the Centre for Predictive in vitro Models who will coordinate the proposal as detailed above.
