NORGANOID is a startup in foundation based in Graz that is supported by the academic incubator Science Park Graz and promoted within the Austrian AplusB scale-up program. Its vision is to significantly contribute to the establishment of personalized medicine into the healthcare system. It aims to enhance the research on human diseases, especially on neurodegenerative ones. With a pending patent on a 3D organ-on-chip solutions, the startup is also focusing on the development of a monitoring and maintaining bio-station for the use of 3D organ-on-chips, that finally will facilitate autonomous tissue engineering and drug testing.
