Interests
My lab is interested in the engineering of the cell microenvironment for advanced in vitro models and regenerative medicine applications. We design hydrogels with controlled biochemistry, mechanics, degradability and microstructure, allowing the regulation of stem cell phenotype (maintenance, differentiation, secretory phenotype). The biomaterials we engineer are also 3D printable and enable microfabrication (e.g. embedding in microfluidic chips or via photopatterning). We have a particular interest in microvascular models and their application to cancer, brain, cardiac and skin models, in collaboration with partners from the medical school.Publications
