Cardiovascular Models

Interests

My work focuses on vascular bioengineering and biomaterial mechanics, including studies on the endothelial glycocalyx, vascular stem cells and progenator cells, transmembrane and transcapillary exchange. We are interested in developing in vitro models to study fundamental vascular mechanobiology and involvement in disease.
