The Queen Mary in vitro models facilities includes Flexcell systems for the study of mechanobiology in cells in 2d and 3d culture.
Although not strictly an organ-chip platform, the Flexcell system provides a very easy to use system for applying tensile or compressive strain to cell culture models. There is also a system for applying fluid shear stress. These systems are based within the Centre for Bioengineering in the School of Engineering and Materials Science.
