Accessing the Facilities

The organ-chip platforms and the CREATE lab microfabrication facilities are located within the School of Engineering and Materials Science, and the Blizard Institute respectively. These facilities are available to Queen Mary staff and PhD students associated with the Centre for Predictive in vitro Models, as well as to external industry partners. In addition, the facilities may also be accessed by members of the wider organ-chip community through collaboration and co-supervision of PhD studentships associated with the CDT in Next Generation Organ-on-a-chip Technology (COaCT).

Costs for External Academics:

Access to the organ-chip platforms within the Centre is costed as shown below. 
These costs are based on access for experienced users. Training may be possible and is arranged and costed on a case by case basis.
